Links Tab

1 min read

Purpose

  • Analyze internal/external links, anchor text, and quick link health cues.

How to Open

  • Popup nav → Links.
  • Some pages limit scraping (blocked frames, heavy lazy-load); reload + reopen if needed.

What You See

  • Internal vs. external link lists with anchors and targets.
  • Counts/filters for total links, nofollow/ugc/sponsored flags.
  • Status or fetch notes when available (blocked, redirected).
  • Optional on-page highlights showing color-coded badges per link (e.g., query strings, nofollow, robots-blocked, redirects, 4xx/5xx) so you can scan status in situ.

Workflow Wins

  • Spot navigation clutter or duplicate anchors without crawling.
  • Fast check for accidental external links or missing rel=nofollow on UGC/ads.
  • Identify redirecting links before running full audits.
  • IA hygiene: Sort anchors to find dupes and thin nav labels.
  • External risk: Filter external + missing rel to catch outbound leaks.
  • Redirect cleanup: Open redirecting links to update destinations.

Actions

  • Copy/export link tables for auditing.
  • Jump to links in a new tab for spot checks.
  • Use the highlight action to overlay statuses directly on the page for quick visual QA.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • For infinite scroll/JS-rendered links, scroll the page, then reopen the popup.
  • Deduplicate anchors mentally; repeated nav/footer links are expected—focus on content links.
