Other Tools Tab

2 min read

Purpose

  • Quick launchpad to third-party checks and Sprout shortcuts.

How to Open

  • Popup nav → Other Tools.
  • Allow pop-ups if you’re opening multiple testers at once.

What You See

  • One-click opens for Search Console, Google site: search, PageSpeed Insights, Google AMP Test, SimilarWeb, Wayback Machine (page and domain), W3C Validator, BuiltWith, Whois, BuzzSumo, Majestic, Moz, Ahrefs (overview and backlinks), SE Ranking (research and backlinks), Semrush (organic and backlinks), and Sistrix (page and domain).
  • Context-aware URL handling, so each link gets the domain or the full page as that tool expects.
  • Archive.org bulk fetcher: date range, file-extension exclusions, keep-params toggle, up to 100k URLs via Wayback API.
  • Bulk Google Trends with visuals: paste keywords (one per line), pick region and time range, and the charts render in their own tab. Your region and time-range choices are remembered for next time. The results page has a Print button; there is no CSV export for trends.

Workflow Wins

  • One-click jumps into your preferred off-site tools with the active URL prefilled—no copy/paste.
  • Mix performance, backlink, tech stack, and archive lookups in seconds.
  • Recover migration history fast via Wayback bulk export; filter out junk extensions before export.
  • Batch-check keyword seasonality with Trends without leaving the popup.
  • Backlink recon: Open Ahrefs/Semrush/Majestic/SERanking on the current domain.
  • Tech stack check: Fire BuiltWith to confirm CMS/CDN tags before a migration.
  • Perf triage: Open PageSpeed Insights alongside WebPageTest (via context menu) for lab + field views.
  • History: Wayback to compare prior content/templates.
  • Archive rescue: Pull Wayback URLs for a date range, exclude binaries, keep params when needed.
  • Trends batch: Paste keyword list, set region/timeframe, and export trends visuals for briefs.

Actions

  • One-click open to the selected tool for the active page/domain.
  • Copy link targets before opening if you need to share.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Some tools require logins/subscriptions; make sure you’re signed in.
  • Country/language settings in external tools may need manual adjustment per query.
